Henning Lyche Christiansen’s career spans almost 20 years in the global financial industry specializing in the maritime transportation and offshore energy industries. Mr. Christiansen is the founder of Bautship LLC, a strategic and financial advisory firm focusing on the ocean-based industries. From 2006 to 2020 Mr. Christiansen held senior positions at DNB Bank ASA and Nordea Bank AB, two of the leading global financial institutions in the maritime transportation and offshore energy sectors, where he has been responsible for developing lending portfolios covering some of the leading offshore energy and maritime transportation companies in both the European and North American markets. After nearly two decades of transacting with leading maritime transportation and offshore energy companies, he has accumulated an extensive global network including executive management teams, bankers, investors, lawyers and industry professionals. Mr. Christiansen held key roles developing capital markets business and served as FINRA-registered Investment Banking Representative for Nordea’s broker dealer in the US. Henning holds a MSc in Shipping, Trade and Finance from Cass Business School.
